As new technologies race ahead without adequate guardrails, even the most powerful narratives cannot alone counter the profit-seeking motives of tech platforms and online voices seeking to weaponize online spaces against children, gender equality and democracy.
Following the momentum of the Arch Collaborative and Equimundo’s first three co-hosted webinars, which diagnosed the current landscape of abuses and causes and highlighted actors building a "Jackson Pollock" pastiche of diverse digital and narrative solutions applied from all sides, our fourth webinar focused on the policy and legislative solutions required to stem the tide of grievance-based misogyny, prevent harm, build accountability, and promote culture change in service of healthy masculinities and gender equality.
Panelists included:
- MP Jess Asato (Parliament of the United Kingdom)
- Amanda Manyame (Equality Now)
- Felicity Mulford (Equimundo)
- Max Read (Institute for Strategic Dialogue)
- Varina Winder (Arch Collaborative)
